The memory of being too aggressive once with the nipple rings seared in my mind, and I shivered. Fuck, that sucked. Still, they were easier to heal than the cock piercing.

Rinsing off, I chuckled at the memory of sleeping with a glass of ice water by the bed. Frenum piercings mean no erections for a while, which was useful for…dowsing the situation.

Now, though, the little bling on the underside of my shaft and just below the head was especially fun. I’d received several compliments from the women I’d fucked over the years. Damn, I hadn’t gotten laid in, like, forever. Maybe that was why I was so grumpy. I need to blow off a little steam.

I toweled off, slipped on loose pajama bottoms, and headed straight back to bed. Once the room was dark, it took less than thirty seconds to fall asleep.

Ring, ring, ring!

“Ah, shit.” I frowned in the growing light of my room, squinting as I padded around the nightstand for my phone. Christ, what time was it?

Looking at the clock before swiping the green button to answer, I was very disappointed to see it was six fucking fifteen in the goddamn morning.

“Who the fuck is calling me this early?”

I put the cell to my ear. “What.”

There was a pause, and a decidedly feminine voice came over the line. “Umm, Mr. Vadim. Mr. Pietor Vadim?”

Interesting…

“Yeah. Who’s this?” I sat up, scooting back to the headboard to lean against it and throwing the covers off, still warm from sleep.

“Hello. This is Billie Pearce. I’m Mr. Labriola’s lawyer regarding the suit against Delirium. You were listed as the contact.”

“Christ, sweetheart. Are you aware of how early it is? I was actually excited there for a minute, but unless you’re calling me because you want to fuc—”

“Mr. Vadim,” her voice cut in, “it’s imperative that we arrange a meeting to discuss the case. There have been serious allegations raised against your business, and my client would like the opportunity to discuss them with you.”

Standing up and taking a moment to grip the base of my morning wood, I breathed through my nose, heading to the closet.

“Look, sweetheart, I’ll meet with that fucker on my own terms, so unless you’re about to video call me on OnlyFans, we’re done.”

The woman’s loud scoff sounded through my phone, and I just chuckled.

“Mr. Vadim, I—” she revved up to tear into me, but I was so not interested.

“That’s what I thought.”

I hung up, tossing my phone on my bed from where I stood in front of my closet. If I was up, I might as well enjoy some personal time before getting dressed and getting some breakfast.

Chapter 3 - Billie

“Who the fuck does that guy think he is?!” I slammed my phone down on my desk, my blood screaming as fury swam up my gut. Could that Mr. Vadim have been any less professional?

“He completely blew me off! What does he think is going to happen? He can’t just ignore a lawsuit. Christ!”

I was talking to absolutely no one, but I just had to get the words out. I was livid, my pulse skyrocketing as I clenched my hands into fists. The only reason I’d called him like that in the first place was because Nicholas had insisted. Well, good call, boss. That went swimmingly.

Still, I wasn’t about to let Mr. Vadim get away with that. If it came down to serving him, I’d do it, but keeping things civil as long as possible always worked better in cases like this.

“I’ll just…” I sucked in a breath through my nose, steadying myself. “I’ll just send him an email. We’ll start there.”

Pulling up my account on the firm’s email client, I pulled the address for Mr. Vadim from the documents and drafted up a letter.

Mr. Vadim,
