"I guess we're just destined for disaster today," I managed, brushing a strand of damp hair from Tyler's forehead.

He grinned up at me. "As long as I'm with you, I'll take all the disasters in the world."

I felt my heart swell at his words, at the love and acceptance shining in his eyes. Leaning down, I poured all of my emotions into a kiss.

As we broke apart, Tyler's expression turned mischievous. "Now, where were we before we were so rudely interrupted?"

I smirked, rolling my hips purposefully, drawing a gasp from his lips. "I believe I was about to make you see stars."

"Then by all means, continue."

I thrust into him with renewed vigor, the heat of our passion reignited by the temporary interruption. We moved together, our bodies slick with water and sweat, our moans and gasps filling the room, until finally, with a shout of ecstasy, we tumbled over the edge together, our release washing over us in waves of pure, unadulterated bliss.

Afterwards, we lay in each other's arms, sated and content, the damp sheets tangled around our bodies. I traced idle patterns on Tyler's chest, marveling at the perfection of the moment, at the love and happiness I felt.

"I can't believe this is real," I murmured, pressing a kiss to his shoulder. "I can't believe I get to have this with you."

As Tyler and I lay tangled in each other's arms, the afterglow of our lovemaking washing over us, I felt a sense of peace and contentment that I had never known before. The damp sheets, scattered clothing, overturned glass of water—none of it mattered. All that mattered was the man beside me and the love we shared.

I propped myself up on one elbow, gazing down at Tyler's face, marveling at the beauty of his features, the warmth in his eyes. He smiled up at me, his hand coming up to cup my cheek, his thumb brushing over my lip.

"What are you thinking about?" he asked.

I leaned into his touch, turning my head to press a kiss to his palm. "I'm thinking about how lucky I am," I replied. "How lucky I am to have found you."

"I'm the lucky one, Ronan. You've given me more than I ever dreamed possible. You've given me love, adventure, and a future to dream about."

Leaning down, I kissed Tyler gently.

As we broke apart, I lay at his side, my head on his chest. "I love you, Tyler. I love you more than I ever thought possible."

"I love you too, Ronan. Always and forever."

Epilogue

It was a gorgeous late summer day in Blue Harbor. I stood on the front port of Ian Gallagher's restored estate. Two years had passed since I collided with Ronan at a parade and embarked on a wild treasure hunt around the town.

Following up on one of Ronan's brilliant ideas, we brought the house and grounds of his Great-Uncle's home back to its glory days. Everything had a fresh coat of paint, and local contractors had repaired structural issues. It was now the grand opening of the house for all local residents to enjoy as the home of the Blue Harbor History Museum.

A light breeze carried the scents of freshly mown grass and Rafe's gourmet catering he's set up in a white tent on the lawn. An excited crowd gathered and chatted about their memories of Ian. Very few local residents ever saw the inside of the house while he was alive. They were excited to ease years of curiosity.

Turning to the right, I gazed at our most striking addition to the property—a meticulously crafted full-scale replica of the ill-fated schooner Siren's Call. The blue wooden hull gleamed under the summer sun. Ronan had insisted on commissioning the model for the grounds. We had plenty of evidence that the story of the shipwreck captured Ian's imagination and may have played a pivotal role in the location of his home.

Ronan wrapped his arms around me from behind. "It's really something, isn't it?" He rested his chin on my shoulder.

I reached up and to my side to touch his immaculately maintained beard. "It's a phenomenal new attraction for Blue Harbor, and I think everyone in town is excited. I'm confident your great-uncle would be proud of you."

"He'd be proud of you, too. None of this could have happened without your determination and your believe in the importance of uncovering history."

I turned to face him and planted a gentle kiss on his lips. "We did this together, every step of the way."

Familiar laughter drew my attention. Family members were approaching to greet us.

"There they are!" Mom exclaimed. She opened her arms wide and pulled me into a massive hug, reaching out to pat Ronan on the shoulder, too. "They're the men of the hour."

I squeezed her tightly while Dad stood at her side. "Hey, Mom, Dad. I'm so happy you could make it."

My father clapped Ronan on the shoulder. "Wouldn't have missed this for the world. Of course, my old Mustang would look great next to that ancient boat, but I suppose I'll have to be satisfied with things how they are."
