There’s so much tension in the room I can barely breathe through it, but fuck, has it got me hard as hell.

I look down at my watch and sigh. Looks like I’m going to have to be the voice of reason, not a role I ever want to be responsible for.

“As much as I would love to keep watching you two eye fuck each other, we need to get going in an hour.”

Camilla’s stormy eyes meet mine, and she’s about to argue when I nail her with a pointed stare.

“Do as you’re told, Princess, or I’ll bring you to the edge over and over again until you’re begging me for release, and then I’ll leave you tied to the bed without it.”

Unsurprisingly, she doesn’t argue any further, and I stroll out of the room with a smug smile on my lips. Having her here is way more fun than I ever could have anticipated.

CHAPTER SIXTY-FOUR

CAMILLA

Itug at the hem of the dress Bishop picked for me, cursing him for choosing something so fucking short.

The slinky silver fabric hugs all my curves in the right places, and the guys haven’t been able to take their eyes off me since I stepped out of my room. The only good thing about this dress, other than the fact it’s fucking beautiful, is that my cleavage is covered, and I have a feeling that was a deliberate move. One thick strap sits on my shoulder, while the other drops over the other.

The shoes he chose for me are another bone of contention, but again, the strappy silver stilettos are a pair I would have chosen for myself if I didn’t need to think about running in them.

We’re no closer to figuring out who put the hit out for me, but in the week since it happened, there’s been no further threats, allowing us some time to breathe and regroup.

I throw a worried look over my shoulder at Crew, who walks a few steps behind us. His suit is impeccable, and if I hadn’t been the one to stop him from bleeding out, I wouldn’t even know he’d been shot at all.

He holds his head high, and the closer we get to the pumping music of the fight club, the more my body tenses. It’s too soon for this. He’s not strong enough.

But I was outvoted, and there’s not much I can do about the situation now that we’re here.

“You okay, love?” Bishop looks down at me with knowing eyes and tightens his hold on my hand.

I swallow heavily and nod, forcing the strength I’ve allowed to drop back to the forefront while my insides war against one another. Being out of the safety of the compound for the first time since we were ambushed would have been hard regardless, but the fact we’re about to be surrounded by drunk, bloodthirsty assholes does little to settle my nerves.

“We’ll keep you safe, Little Lamb,” Kovu reassures me from the other side, his hand grasping my free one and linking our fingers together.

“It’s not me I’m worried about,” I murmur, chancing another look at Crew and Kaos walking behind us.

Kaos and Kovu opted not to wear a suit, something Bishop complained about the entire drive, but they look hot as fuck in black combat pants and tight-fitting black Henleys. They have no right looking this good when they’ve been depriving me of sex for a week.

Okay, so maybe it was a direct result of me cutting Crew off while he recovered, but still, I’m so horny I’m ready to dry hump one of their legs just to get some relief. I made it worse for myself this afternoon with Crew, but a small smile plays on my lips at the memory of the growl that tore from his throat when the word “daddy” slipped from my mouth.

Definitely something I’m going to have to explore in the future.

Bishop gives me a knowing look, and I take a deep breath, squeezing their hands for support. This is the first time we’re stepping out in public together like this, and once we do this, there’s no going back. We’re making a statement by just being together, and I’d be lying if I said the repercussions of our relationship didn’t frighten me just a little.

We step into the busy fight club, and I allow my gaze to bounce off the warehouse-turned-exclusive club. I’ve never been here before, but I’ve heard about it from my father and his men. I just wasn’t prepared for it to be so…huge. There are hundreds of people here, and the crowd is more than a little intimidating after all we’ve been through recently, but when Kovu pulls me forward, I follow him blindly, trusting him to lead the way.

There are so many eyes on us that I struggle to keep how overwhelmed I am off my face. This is nothing like anything I’ve ever seen before.

Huge hands grasp onto my hips, and I know immediately it’s Kaos holding onto me. His lips drop to my bare shoulder. “You look incredible, Princess.”

A shiver of need vibrates through my body, but I don’t turn back to him, not yet.

Kovu leads us to the edge of the ring, where there are five empty seats, and settles me in the middle seat with Bishop and Crew on either side, while Kovu and Kaos take the spare seat on either side of them.

The feeling of being at the center of their world washes over me. They’re placing me in the middle as their queen, and I have to swallow past that realization before it bowls me over.

Crew places his warm hand on my bare knee and leans in to press his lips to my cheek. “Welcome to our world, Little Menace.”
