Chapter

Thirty-Three

Ilet the guys settle Melvin in after seeing the doctor. The kid has been through a lot, and despite his strength and bloodlust tonight, as soon as Dr. Louis touched him, he started to sob. Not wanting him to feel embarrassed, we gave him the space he needed, but I know full well he has a long journey of healing ahead of him. And the memories? They never go away. You just have to try to replace them with something better. Maybe that’s why I find myself lifting my head when my tent flaps open, my mask clutched in my hands.

My own memories fill my head, brought on by Melvin’s confession.

They stole his innocence, and I remember what that feels like.

I remember the pain and humiliation.

I want to replace it. I want something good to hold onto, and when I see the four men who saved me, I know I want it to be them.

For others, they are their ending, their damnation, but for me, they are my salvation, my angels, and my hope for a better future.

They would never hurt me unless I asked. They would never leave me. Even now, they watch me, knowing something is wrong, ready to fight my invisible foe for me.

“Ember, what’s wrong?” Diamond asks, stepping farther into my tent, his brows drawing together in worry.

“I need to paint over the past,” I murmur. “I need to replace the bad with the good.”

“Okay . . .” Spade tilts his head, unsure what I need from them.

“I need you. I need you all to do that. Make me forget every time he touched me, every time he took my body. I need—no, I want you to replace the pain with pleasure. I want to be alive and not his.”

Club’s smile is slow and sexy as he watches me. “I think we can do that, don’t you guys?”

Heart grins and steps closer, leaping onto my bed, and then he wraps himself around me from behind, resting his chin on my shoulder. “You want all of us, Queen? Can you handle that?”

“Yes,” I whisper as I run my eyes over them before I clear my throat. “I want all of you.”

“Your wants are ours to fulfill,” Diamond purrs, sliding his mask up onto his head so I can see his face. “But you must be sure. I don’t want your regrets to rise with the dawn. You can’t take back what we do here in the dark, Ember. You can’t give yourself to us and then run the next day.”

“I’m not running, not anymore. I want this. I want you.” I meet every single one of their eyes before I reach back and tangle my fingers in Heart’s hair, tugging him down and pressing his mouth to my neck. “If you want me.”

“More than anything,” Club says without restraint.

“More than life,” Spade adds, moving closer.

I glance at Diamond, waiting for his answer. The smirk he aims my way as his eyes drag down my body makes flames lick at my insides, and desire pools low in my body. He watches me like he wants to eat me alive and has been holding himself back, and then his gaze meets mine. My breath whooshes from me at the pure hunger I see there. “You’re all I want,” he says. “I’ll happily share you, Ember, if it means I get a taste of what I’ve hungered for since the day I met you.”

There’s something about his confession that has me shivering and leaning back into Heart as if he will protect me from Diamond—which is insane, asking the beast to protect me from the devil.

I refuse to let embarrassment take hold. Instead, I move on instinct. Turning, I grab Heart’s chin and yank him down, kissing him.

He moans into my mouth, his hands hauling me onto his lap and pressing me against his straining erection as he bites my lip until I taste blood. A hand grabs my hair, yanking my head back. I open my eyes as I pant, meeting Diamond’s hard gaze.

“You’ve already had Heart, and we both know if you two play, you won’t be able to enjoy the rest of us.” It’s the truth, but the hard touch has me ignoring his word, grinding into Heart who snarls. “Tell him no. He only listens to you now.”

I look back at Heart and lick my lips. “Be good, you can have me last.” His nostrils flare, his hands gripping me as if he won’t let me go, so I harden my voice. “Or not at all.”

His lips tilt into a pout, but he releases me, and I gasp as Diamond lifts me from him with one hand and then throws me. I slam against a body, my hands smacking into a firm chest, and my head jerks up just in time to see Club’s smirking face before he drags me to my toes and crushes his lips to mine. His hands slide down my body to grip my hips and press me against him, letting me feel every hard inch of his physique.

Losing myself in the kiss, I grip his shirt tighter, rubbing against him as another body presses against my back. Their hands slide up my chest, across my neck, and to my chin before turning me around as another pair of lips meet mine. My eyes flutter open to see Spade, and I whimper as he sucks on my tongue.

I expect Club to back away, but his hands slide down my thighs, and I gasp into Spade’s mouth as he lifts me, holding me between them, my ass pressed against Spade’s hard length while Club’s mouth slides down my throat, kissing and licking until I moan between them, desperate for more.

Spade’s hands move up, lifting my shirt as he goes, and Club and I break apart for him to toss it away, leaving my torso bare for their greedy hands and mouths. Spade’s lips trail down my spine while his hands slip between us, cupping my breasts and tweaking my nipples as Club tugs my pants down, but our position makes it hard.
