“The consequences won’t be so bad,” Rian smirks. “Just a lifetime of this.”

The soft buzzing between my legs begins to amplify. The pressure in my core swirls as I reach down to my pussy in a pointless attempt to stop the orgasmic torture.

“Stop!” I plead, my voice frustratingly shaky.

“As you wish.”

To my surprise, the vibrating stops. I’m given a second to breathe.

“I’ll get your sister’s painting,” I relent. “And I’ll tell you where to pick it up. But only if you tell me how to get rid of this stupid fucking torture device.”

But Rian isn’t done playing with me yet.

“Well, either I can provide you with the recipe and the ingredients to safely dissolve the nanobots, or I can give you that solution myself when I pick up the painting AND my crown.”

A strange desperation kicks up inside of me at the thought of giving everything back so quickly.

I worked so hard to have him chase me.

Could I really throw it away before I truly get what I want from him?

“Even if you don’t provide the recipe, I’m sure I can figure it out myself,” I promise.

“I don’t doubt you could,” Rian bites. “But even if it only took you a few hours to figure out the recipe, it would still take a week to mix it all together properly.”

“I’d do it in three days.”

“Oh, but what a long three days those would be.”

With that, the vibrating starts again. My toes curl so sharply I start to get cramps in the soles of my feet. But that doesn’t stop the pressure in my core. It builds and crackles and whirls as my thighs clench and my fingers spread, and jagged breaths rip from my throat.

It feels so good I could cry.

Fuck. I haven’t felt this helpless in so long.

It’s awful… and dangerously addicting.

“Fine,” I whimper. “I’ll bring both.”

My voice is so shattered that I don’t think the cruel lion can even hear me.

Yet, to my surprise, the vibrations slowly ease. By the time they stop, my body is shaking enough to pick up the slack.

Warm shivers take hold of me. All I can do is stare at the ground, hair covering my face, and breathe.

“Good girl,” Rian says. I want to grab a fistful of rocks and throw it at him, but I’m too weak. “Now, pick yourself up and go back inside. You deserve a nice dinner. On me.”

Before I can spit at him, the metal door I burst out of earlier is flung open.

“Roz!”

Tytus covers me with his massive body, and I collapse into him as I try to make sense of what just happened.

“Do you see him?” I croak.

He helps me to my feet, and when I finally pick my head back up, I see what I already suspected.

Nothing.
