“What if you never have enough to satisfy me?” I whisper, twiddling my thumbs on my lap while Ray’s hand beckons for me.
“Then I’ll conquer the world until there’s nothing left to give you.”
“What if what I want isn’t something you can give me? What if the more you give me, the less I have for myself?”
“That won’t happen, kitten,” Ray says, curling up his fingers. “We’ve had our time as master and slave. That was fun, but it’s not what I want from you.”
“You want to breed me…”
“I want to anoint you. Be my queen, princess. Together, we can accomplish anything.”
His words are so convincing, even if I don’t entirely believe them. Maybe I just want to. Or maybe I just want to touch him again. Because before I know what I’m doing, I’ve slipped my fingers between his.
Ray’s hand closes over mine and a wave of warmth washes up my arm and through my body.
Not even the darkness can penetrate the fire this man inspires in me.
“And what if my plans aren’t so grand as that?” I ask.
“Then we will start small.”
“How small?”
“Small enough to satisfy you.”
Ray’s grip around my hand tightens and my heart starts to beat faster.
“How are you going to do that?” I ask, a swirling pressure appearing deep in my core. He knows what I want to hear.
“By showing you what I keep beneath my bed.”

I’m not sure whether Francesca will run towards me with desire or away in fear when she sees what I have in store for her, but I’m not about to take any chances.
Locking the bedroom door behind me, I brush past my flushed princess and make my way to the mattress.
This is the last real test of the night.
If she can handle what I keep beneath my bed, she can handle me at my most depraved.
Dinner was just a formality. A pop-quiz, if you will.
It’s already clear that we can get along just fine out in polite society, even if that polite society is filled with crooked politicians and soulless CEOs. What neither of us know just yet, is how we get along when our darkest fantasies come to life.
“Are you sure you’re not full?” I ask, one last time before crouching down to unlock the compartment beneath the bed frame.
“… Yes,” Francesca whispers. She’s being a brave little princess, but I can hear the fear in her voice. It shakes like a tremor, threatening to break her into a thousand pieces.
I’ll show her that there’s another way this can go. One where she’ll still shake, but only out of pleasure.
With the compartment open, I pull out two boxes. The bigger one remains closed as I pick up the smaller box and bring it to Francesca.
“Open it up, kitten,” I smirk. Every muscle in my body is twitching with anticipation. Just thinking about how close I am to corrupting this delicate little dove makes me salivate.
Dinner wasn’t enough. I’m still starving.
