Bianca joins in, her eyes sparkling with anticipation. “Yeah, we need to know everything! Was it romantic? Did he sweep you off your feet?”

I can’t help but grin at their enthusiasm, feeling a warmth spread through me at the thought of sharing my experience with them. “It was amazing,” I reply, my voice filled with excitement. “We went to a sip and paint event, and then he took me to this cozy little Italian bistro for dinner. It was perfect.”

Chloe and Bianca exchange knowing glances, their smiles widening at my words. “Oh, it sounds like a dream come true!” Chloe exclaims.

Bianca nods in agreement. “I’m so happy for you, Jessy. You deserve all the happiness in the world.”

As we finish breakfast, we excitedly make plans to go shopping, eager to spend the day together and catch up on all the latest gossip. But as we head out the door, my thoughts keep drifting back to Ethan.

As I sink into my bed, utterly exhausted from our shopping spree, my phone lights up with a message from Ethan. I can’t help but smile as I read it.

Ethan: Hey, Jessy, what are your plans for tomorrow evening after work?

I pause for a moment, contemplating my response. Despite my tiredness, the thought of spending more time with Ethan fills me with excitement.

Me: Hey, Ethan! Nothing planned. Why?

Ethan: Would you like to accompany me to an art exhibition? I know you said you’re not familiar with art, but trust me, it’ll be fun!

I bite my lip, feeling a mix of nerves and anticipation. Art has never been my forte, but the idea of exploring it with Ethan by my side is too enticing to resist.

Me: Sure, I’d love to! What time should I meet you?

Ethan: Great! I’ll pick you up from your place at 7:00 p.m.

Me: Can’t wait!

I can’t help but feel a flutter of excitement at the thought of another date with Ethan.

As I go about my day at work, my mind keeps drifting back to the evening ahead with Ethan. Every task I complete is tinged with anticipation, my excitement growing with each passing hour.

When the clock finally strikes five, I practically bolt out of the office, eager to get home and prepare for our date. I rush through my evening routine, choosing a simple, yet elegant, dress that I hope will impress Ethan.

As I slip into the dress and do a final check in the mirror, there’s a knock at the door. My heart skips a beat as I rush to answer it, finding Ethan standing there, looking incredibly handsome in a crisp shirt and jeans.

“Hey, Jessy,” he greets me with a warm smile, his eyes lighting up as they meet mine.

“Hi, Ethan,” I reply, trying to contain my excitement. “You look great.”

“Thanks, you look stunning,” he says, his gaze lingering on me for a moment longer than usual.

With a smile, I step out of the door, feeling another surge of anticipation as we head out.

As we stroll through the art exhibition, I can’t help but notice the way people treat Ethan with a certain reverence, as if he holds some kind of power or influence. It’s a stark contrast to the easy going demeanor he displays around me, and I find myself wondering how he knows so many influential people.

When we stop in front of yet another painting, I can feel myself growing restless. The pretentious chatter of the crowd and the stuffy atmosphere of the gallery is starting to wear on me.

“This is a little boring,” I whisper to Ethan, shooting him a playful glance. “You lied to me about this being fun.”

Ethan chuckles softly, his eyes crinkling at the corners with amusement. “You caught me,” he admits, his tone lighthearted. “Honestly, I’m bored too.”

Relief washes over me at his confession, and I can’t help but smile. “So, what do we do now?” I ask, hoping he has a plan to salvage the rest of the evening.

Ethan looks around the gallery thoughtfully before turning back to me with a grin. “How about we make a swift exit and grab some ice cream?” he suggests, his eyes twinkling with mischief.

I nod eagerly, the prospect of escaping the confines of the art exhibition sounding more appealing by the second. “That sounds perfect,” I reply.

A few minutes later, Ethan says goodbye to the host before we leave, and we both leave. He drives us to an ice cream shop not too far from the gallery.
