I nod as he and Jett move into their seats and the ceremony begins. Everyone is here.

It’s our special day.

Father Dan smiles at us and then begins. Everything goes by in a blur.

When it’s time to kiss the bride, I pull her to me and then our mouths meet. I sweep her back, holding her in my arms as the crowd claps and whistles.

I can’t keep my hands off her as she sits on my knee at the reception, a glass of champagne in her hand as we look across the room at all of our friends and family.

“Happy?” I ask.

She nods. “Yes, extremely. Husband.”

I kiss her, resting one hand on the small of her back. “I can't wait to get you out of this dress, wife. I know you said a year — which was six months ago — but damn baby, I want to knock you up so bad.”

My dick twitches as she laughs, her chest heaving as I imagine what I’m gonna do to her in this dress as soon as I can whisk her away.

I’m so proud of her. Setting up her studio and working closely with Father Dan and the parish, along with taking over the role as head co-ordinator at the Soup Kitchen. She radiates happiness, and I think in some small way I had a little bit to do with that.

“Well, we can practice, right?” Her words go straight between my legs.

“The bathroom,” I groan.

“Xavier Samuel Grieves!” Okay, as long as she never calls me Percy ever again. “I’m not having sex in a bathroom.”

“Damn it. Thought we could role play again like we did the last time.”

She tries not to laugh but fails. “When I was your needy little sweet butt?” She looks down at herself. “Not in this dress.”

“No,” I agree. “In this dress you’re my queen.”

There’s a commotion from the dance floor as I peer over. Cash, Harlem and Tag are immediately in the center, and it looks like they’re trying to escort someone out… A chick who looks to be causing trouble as she points at Cash when he tries to grip her by the elbow.

“Stay here,” I say as she slides off my knee.

“Is everything okay?” Bella frowns.

I kiss her quickly. “Everything’s fine, baby. Save a dance for me.”

When I get there, Cash is pointing at her. “This isn’t the time or place…”

“Maybe not for you!” The woman hisses back. “But it is for me. This is personal.”

“This is a wedding,” Cash bites back. “A private function. I’ve told you before…”

So they know each other?

“Estelle?” Nevada’s eyes are wide, his hands on his hips as he approaches.

The short, auburn, spit-fire of a woman turns and balks at him. Taking a long look down his body, she does not look impressed. “You again?”

Nevada told me about some chick that kicked his ass a few weeks ago, but her name was…

“And stop calling me that, my name is Star,” she fires back. I can tell right away this chick has a temper.

Nevada looks up at Cash. “I’ll take care of this.”

“Don’t you even think about it!” She goes to shove Nevada back. “You know what happened last time.”
