“Oh. Just a kiss? What’s the catch?”

I grinned, loving the fact she knew there’d be more from me.

“You’ll have to do it now, and you have to straddle my lap as you kiss me.”

“Wow.”

“I told you, I don’t come cheap.”

She thought about it for a second before she negotiated, “Fine, but you have to tell me first.”

I nodded. “Alright.”

“You want to shake on it?”

“No, I know where you live.”

She chuckled, sucking in her bottom lip.

Eyeing her up and down for a moment, I confessed, “That scene today…”

“Yeah, tell me about it. It was a lot, but you nailed it, Aires. Do you know how hard it is to film a scene like that in one take? That’s unheard of.”

I didn’t hesitate to admit, “I pictured you as Quinn, and it’s crazy because you’re actually playing her. That’s all I kept thinking about, how I’d react if we were in a real situation like that. How I’d risk my life to save you, Bay. The panic, the fear, the devastation of losing you… that all felt real to me.”

If the expression on her face was any indication of how she felt about what I just shared, I wouldn’t survive it.

I craved to kiss her.

To touch her.

To taste her.

To really make her mine.

With a set of hazy eyes and a soaking wet body, she stood in front of me, smirking.

Waiting.

I rubbed my first two fingers over my lips, contemplating what to do next. I knew what I wanted, and as much as I tried to talk myself out of it…

I couldn’t.

The urge was too powerful.

Too consuming.

“Bay,” I rasped, hanging on by an extremely thin thread.

“I love it when you call me that.”

I leaned back against the hot tub, taking a second to look at her. To really appreciate the beauty of Bailey Pierce-McGraw. Her face was flushed. Her eyes were dilated. She was a vision I was addicted to. Our time together was never enough, and even when we were in each other’s presence, I wanted more.

She was gorgeous.

Stunning.

Goddamn breathtaking.
