“He does, unfortunately.”
“Let me guess, he’s interested in it as well?”
Gabriel slightly nodded his head,
Of course he is.
“You said Micheal had begun taking over her training, correct?”
“Yeah, he has.”
“So we lie to him.”
We beat him at his own game.
If Micheal knew about Catalina’s Hellfire he would know how unskilled she was at wielding it…
“Tell Micheal you’re taking her out farther into seclusion to practice wielding it. Tell him she needs more space or she risks hurting others or herself.”
We get her out of that house and away from Micheal, she gets protection from Gabriel and me, and she can practice her gift.
“You relay the information about her training to Micheal, but downplay it and get as much information as you can from him. Catalina will stay here and I’ll help her train.”
Until we can figure out what he wants.
Gabriel nodded his head before asking,
“And how long do I tell him we’ll be gone for?”
“Two weeks. Give me Two weeks and she’ll have better control.”
It was a short time frame but I knew she could do it, plus a shorter time frame would stress Micheal out, and if Gabriel was delivering false information downplaying her abilities, He would slip up. He would get stressed and frustrated and he would slip up. I knew he would.
Gabriel and I shared a look. He understood what had to be done. I turned my head back to the window to watch Catalina.
“I would begin preparing for war brother,” I said to Gabriel, keeping my eyes locked on her.
“Because if Micheal does have another plan that involves hurting her, Then I will drag him down to the pit with me and watch him burn.”

Catalina’s POV
“Well, it’s about time, Where have you two been?”
I rolled my eyes,
He sounds like an annoyed father.
“Sorry, but it took a while. I had some errands I needed to attend to.”
Gabriel informed me of the little first phase of the plan after he and Lucifer finished their conversation. We were going to lie to Micheal and say we were up early running errands until this afternoon.
“Ridiculous! You should learn how to manage your time better.”
You should learn to shut the fuck up.
