“I expect them soon.” The commander’s cold tone snapped as she closed the viewing screen. Little men scrambled out of her way as she left her command center and went to the cargo area.
“Get these vile things off my ship already.” She yelled as she gazed at the Laverian men floating in stasis. I felt Terrek tense as we watched the memories displayed in the hologram before us.
The timid, tearful Andromeda was gone. Only a brutal, evil commander showed her true nature before us. My stomach felt queasy watching it. The Laverian men were being transferred to another ship. The next was a load of Laverian females. We watched as more animals and resources were removed.
Soon, several females were delivered to Commander Edge. They were stripped naked and presented to Andromeda, who circled them and inspected them disdainfully.
“Is this the best you could find?” She scoffed to the small man who presented the traumatized females.
“Unfortunately, I am afraid this planet doesn’t have very impressive specimens, Commander Edge.” The little man shrugged, unimpressed.
“I have inspected and chosen the best available females for you, Commander Edge.” He said with a sparkle in his eye.
“So be it. Clean them up, collar them, and place them in the pods. I will give them to my father. He can use or discard them as he wishes. I will retire to a pod myself. Don’t bother to wake me until we return.” Her pig like ears ruffled in agitation as she spoke.
Andromeda Edge left the females and the little man. She headed to the pods and undressed. She lay down as the AI machines gave her injections and applied monitors, putting her into stasis. When she woke, she was disoriented.
Andromeda saw the blinking light displaying the date and time.
“Those imbeciles must have done something wrong to wake me too soon.” She whispered through clenched teeth. She noticed an unknown female approaching her pod.
“Enough!” Empress Zion said the hologram disappeared as the lights came on.
Candy›s fur and hunched posture lit up, and growls filled the air as Andromeda became aware again.
“Down, boy,” I said as I rubbed his ears. She resumed her tears and trembling as she begged.
“Please, I am not bad. I want to go home.”
Candy’s hackles rose again his fur glowing and a low growl began. “Hold your horses Candy, I don’t like her but we are gonna be nice for now.”
The Empress raised her brow.
“Andromeda Edge, you have been deemed unworthy.” The Empress declared as she stood.” Take her to the interrogation cells.”
All the humility disappeared from Andromeda’s features, and she let out a menacing laugh.
“Fools, you have no idea what you are up against. You don’t know who I am, but you will.” She said like she had a pot to piss in.
“Fuck around and find out! Up till now, I’ve been forgiven and forgetting because of the way I was raised, but I’ll tell you one thing, if it was up to me, I’d let Candy eat your ass, as I had promised. You better hope your fate lies in the Gias hands.” I shouted after Andromeda as she was being hulled out.
The soldiers sedated her, and she fell into stasis as they took her to be interrogated. I was left spitten mad with my Candy still glowing, and I felt Terrek wrap me in his arm shaking with a booming laughter.
“Darah, you amaze me, fierce little human.”

he Empress’s features softened when she saw us standing at the wall.
“Please join me for a meal,” she said as she moved to exit
the council room. Flame guided us in meeting the Empress in the hallway.
“Now, I regret not letting Candy eat her! What will happen to her now?” I whispered as we began to walk.
