“And you have me,” I reply, pushing myself up her body until her tongue is in my mouth. She still tastes faintly of Avery’s peanut butter cookies. “All of me.”
Her hands hold my face, softly kissing my lips. “And you have all of me,” she whispers.
“I love you so much, Sam,” I tell her.
She smiles. “I love that you call me Sam and Samantha.”
“Is that your official answer then?” I ask.
“Wait, you remember asking me my preference?” Her eyes widen with surprise.
“Of course I remember. That was the first day I laid eyes on you.”
“It was.” Her thumb strokes my cheek. “I knew you were someone special.”
“The feeling was mutual. And now I’m all yours,” I say, tipping my head to kiss her.
“And now I’m all yours,” she echoes against my lips and she deepens our kiss before she pulls back. “And I love you, too, so much.”
I give her a confused look.
“I didn’t say it back this last time and didn’t want you to worry. Because I do.”
Slowly, we pick up where we left off moments ago, but we take our time. The frantic nature of when we came into the room gives way to us drawing out each touch, each kiss. My mind is right back to wanting everything with Tommy. Did I have a moment of doubt for what we’re about to do feeling good? Yes.
But I’m not hiding anymore so, for once, I said something. And Tommy has a plan. Apparently a good one. Is my brain capable of trying to guess what that plan might entail? Absolutely not.

He braces his free hand up by my head and kisses down my neck and along my collarbone with his tongue darting out every so often. Goosebumps follow each path he chooses.
