“Still, we need a plan.”

“For now, we’ll just do damage control. Beating people up is in my job description. The video shows Bryce hitting Bardot first, so it’s not that hard to tell the truth—”

“Just leaving out that we’re more than friends?” Bash asked.

His choked voice didn’t fool either of us, but I only nodded and leaned against his chest. “We can get through this.”

“Who I love shouldn’t matter to anyone except me—and the two of you—”

“Savage—are you saying you love us?”

His mouth ticked up in a half grin and he wrapped his arms around both of us. “Wasn’t it obvious?”

Chapter Twenty-Nine

Mac

“Your balls are incredible.” I tossed a protein bite into my mouth and grinned with it between my teeth as I bit into it.

Bardot tossed a wadded paper towel at me and shooed me to the door. “You can’t be in here.”

“Last time I made that joke, it was perfectly fine.”

“Last time you said it, you only meant the protein balls—”

“Nah, I meant these ones, too.” I cupped his blatant erection through his pants and choked on the nuts in my mouth.

Bardot smacked my back and scowled at me. “Are you coming over tonight?”

“I can’t.” I coughed and tossed the rest of the protein ball in my mouth, hoping to not catch another chunk of almonds. “The guys are going to that new bar downtown. I think it’s called Enchanted?”

Bardot’s face fell, and I stroked his cheek, loving the way his stubble brushed against my skin. Wishing it was scraping against my thigh as he dragged his mouth up my leg—

“Mac?”

“Hmm?”

“I said we’ll have to do something this weekend. It’s been—”

“Too long,” I sighed, running my finger along his arm.

“Michael,” he growled in warning.

“Sebastian—” I stretched out the syllables of his name, emphasizing the sh sound.

His brow raised to his forehead, but he was fighting his own desires. It was obvious in the way his eyes raked over me. Like a parched man staring at a glass of water. “Get out of here before someone catches us.”

I grazed my lips across his, loving the way he groaned against me. The last couple of weeks had been hard. Between all our conflicting schedules, we had hardly seen each other.

I had been lying low after the incident with Bryce. The boy who shared the video made it super clear I was defending my friend, but Julie wanted me to play it safe. In the end, she had made the right call. The public opinion was in my favor and a quiet couple of weeks ensured it would stay that way.

Bardot pulled me in closer, his hard chest rising against mine as he deepened our kiss and pressed his hand to my back. He let go with more control than I had and licked his lips.

And fuck me. That was too hot for me to handle.

“Great. I have practice now,” I grumbled, adjusting my erection.

Bardot grinned, this lopsided thing that made my heart thunder. He could go rub one out while I was stuck on the ice, running through drills.
