I shifted on my seat; although I wasn’t looking at him, I could feel him watching me. I felt shaken to my core. My life had been precariously hanging by a thread, and it all happened in a matter of hours. I thought I’d die, that Adryan would watch, and there was nothing either one of us could do about it.

I kept my focus out the thickly tinted window beside my seat and whispered, “You’re angry.” I felt so stupid for saying that, for pointing out the obvious.

I didn’t have to see the blood covering his skin and clothes, didn’t have to stare at the blank expression on his face or the hard set in his eyes to come to that conclusion. There was just this very powerful energy that was swirling around him, the kind that would set anyone on edge.

The kind that had the hair on my arms rising up and my pulse beating a bit quicker.

When he said nothing, I glanced at him, and of course he was still solely focused on me. The muscles in his body were taut, his hands curled around the armrests of his seat, the muscles in his forearms and biceps contracting as he tightened his hold on the leather.

As if he’s trying not to pounce on me.

I lowered my gaze to stare at his big hands, his nails now claws as they sank into the seat, shredding it. And still he said nothing, didn’t answer me, just watched me with that dangerous, predatory look in his slightly red eyes.

“You’re scaring me, Adryan.”

He blinked slowly and let go of the armrests to reach down and undo the buckle of his belt, his focus never wavering. Despite all my worry on how he was acting, I felt that hard, pussy-throbbing arousal move through me.

I started breathing harder for a far different reason, my unease being pushed to the back until all I saw was him.

Right in front of me. Needing him to ease all the strain and pain and confusion that surrounded me.

“Come here.” Those two words were rough and hard, leaving no room for hesitation or denial. No disobedience.

I looked toward the front of the plane, where the pilot, the only other passenger, was seated behind his control panel. But now there was a curtain separating us, and although it was nothing but a piece of material—not a real barrier in the least—at that moment, it felt like it was an impenetrable wall.

“I said,” he emphasized that last word as he pulled his zipper down, reached inside, and pulled out his massive erection, “come here, princess.”

“Adryan.” His name was nothing but a harsh whisper from me. I didn’t know what was going on, why I was suddenly feeling so on edge, as if my mind and my thoughts couldn’t be controlled, the same as my body.

Because all I want is him.

“Kitty, right now I have very little control.” He stroked himself. “You need to be the good girl I know you are and come here.” He kept jacking himself from root to tip, and my mouth dried at the sight.

He was big all around, every part of his body perfectly proportioned. I watched his palm go to the base of his shaft before squeezing and pulling up, drawing a clear bead of pre-cum to the tip.

I found myself rising and doing exactly what he’d said, moving toward him until I stood right in front of him, my legs almost touching his splayed thighs.

He just stared at my face for long seconds, his gaze roaming over every feature as if memorizing me.

“I don’t know what I’d do without you,” he finally said, and it was strange hearing him say something that could be construed as almost sweet. But I knew better. It was a possessive declaration, because he and I both knew there was no me without him, no him without me.

And that’s what I wanted. That’s what felt right.

“Now that I’ve found you… losing you means I’d cease to exist.”

I opened my mouth, but when he shook his head slowly, his brows lowering, I closed my mouth. I didn’t know what to say anyway.

“I need you, Kayla.”

Could he hear how fast my heart was racing?

“Yes, I can,” he said, reading my thoughts written across my face. “It’ll be rough, kitty.” I licked my lips and nodded. “And I won’t be gentle.”

Good. My heart hiccupped behind my ribs.

“My mouth is watering for you, princess.”

Although his expression and his body language at the moment seemed relaxed, almost easygoing, the longer I stared at him, the more I could see his chest pumping up and down as his breathing picked up.
