“So, you’d pick Brian?” Kendra clarified.

“If those are my only two choices, yes, I choose Brian.”

My chest puffed out at her words as they stroked my ego. What I wouldn’t give to burst in there, grab her, and show her exactly what this body could do to her.

“But it would never work. He’s into things I’m not.” The sadness in her tone twisted my gut. It also solidified that we had to have a long and deep heart to heart. She obviously needed some things clarified.

“What do you mean?” Confusion laced Kendra’s words.

“Never mind. Your turn. Truth or Dare?”

I left them to their game and finished my sweep. When I was satisfied the rest of the house was as secure as it could be, I settled back in my truck for the night. I pulled out my notebook and began making a list of all the things we needed to talk about. I also sent a text to Brody asking him to send me a copy of the club paperwork for those requesting membership. They had the best-written explanation as well as limit lists of any club I had ever been in. I was thankful when his only reply was “sent.” No questions, no teasing, just full-on support.

Tomorrow, I would fill my list out so that she could read in black and white exactly what I wanted and expected along with exactly what I was into, as she stated.
