Page 121 of Burning For Her Kiss

He took a deep breath, trying to clear his head enough to give her an honest answer. “I don’t know.”

Beth licked his ear and removed her foot.

Drew stared up at her, not sure if he should be grateful or not that she’d stopped.

She grinned down at him and grazed the side of his face with her fingertips. “Think about it and let me know.”

Swallowing, he nodded. It was like with the kneeling. Drew knew what she had done should embarrass the hell out of him. If they’d been anywhere else it would have, he was sure of it. But this wasn’t just anywhere. This was a kink club and it wasn’t as if he hadn’t witnessed subs being made to come before. It didn’t happen often on the main floor but Drew had seen it. On his third visit, he observed a female submissive who had been made to wear a chastity device with vibrating dildos filling both her pussy and her ass. Her Dom was able to control it remotely and had spent the entire night turning it off and on.

“And what are you thinking about?” Beth asked.

There was no reason to lie. At the time he’d felt kind of bad for the woman, but now, seeing it from the other side, he wasn’t sure if he should have. “I was remembering seeing a sub being made to come here at the club.”

Beth’s smile grew wider, but she didn’t comment.

They didn’t stay long after that. It was already after ten and they both had to be up early the next morning. As they walked out of the club, Drew tried to ignore the fact that he was still hard as a rock. Following Beth out and watching her backside swaying side to side in that tight skirt of hers wasn’t helping.

Somehow he made it to his apartment, ran inside to grab what he’d need for work the next day, and got back out to his car in under two minutes. Beth knew what was on his mind. She had to. The evidence was front and center for anyone to see.

When they turned onto her street, Beth instructed him to pull his car into her driveway. Normally he parked on the street at the curb, but he wasn’t going to argue.

She reached into her purse, and the next thing he knew her garage door was opening. “You can park alongside me.”

He shot her a quick glance, and then maneuvered his vehicle in beside hers.

Before he could put the car in park, Beth removed her seat belt and pushed the button to close the garage door. She waited until he shifted gears and turned off the engine before turning in her seat. “Take your seat belt off and push your seat back as far as it will go.”

Drew hesitated and Beth wasn’t sure if he was going to do as instructed. Then he reached down and released the lever allowing him to push his seat all the way back. Smiling, she hiked her skirt up around her waist and climbed on top of his lap, straddling him. He placed his hand on her hips to stabilize her when she began sucking on his neck and moving her hips.

“Maybe . . . maybe we should go inside.”

“No.” She snaked her hand down the front of his shirt until she reached his waistband. “I want you, and I want you now.”

He leaned his head back, giving her better access to his neck. “I want you, too, but . . .”

She scraped her teeth over his earlobe as she began working him free of his jeans. “But?”

He groaned and moved his hands down to her legs. Slowly, he started working his way higher until the tips of his fingers were brushing her inner thighs. It was getting hard to concentrate, but there was something she needed him to know first before they went any further. As much as it scared her, Beth knew she needed to own up to her feelings. He’d been nothing but honest and he deserved the same from her.

Taking a deep breath, she grazed the tips of her fingers over the head of his cock and went for it. “I love you.”

It took a minute, but she knew exactly when what she’d said registered. Drew froze. The hands that had, moments before, been close to touching the part of her that was wet and throbbing for him were now motionless.

Beth’s heart skipped a beat as she waited for his reaction.

Drew turned his head so he could see her. He searched her face and then looked into her eyes. “Say it again.”

It wasn’t a command. More of a pleading request.

She swallowed nervously, but held his gaze. “I love you.”

Doubt flickered across his face. “Beth, please don’t say it unless you really mean it. I don’t want you to feel . . .”

Beth placed her index finger over his lips and he stopped talking. “I was talking to Katrina tonight and I realized something. When I overheard you telling your dad that you loved me and wanted to spend the rest of your life with me, I was overcome with fear. Fear that it was too soon. That if we admitted how important we were to each other after such a short time then the heartbreak would be even worse when it fell apart.” She paused. “But she reminded me that love takes as long as it takes. It doesn’t always follow the timetable we think it should.”
