Seems like luck and the universe is on my side, because as I head down the hall, a door opens and I crash right into someone.

“Nash?” Willow’s eyes widen in surprise before her face crumbles. “Oh god, Nash.”

She throws herself at me, burying her face in my chest. I wrap my arms around her, squeezing her tight. “I got you, baby. We’re here, you're safe.”

She sobs again and my heart breaks for her. “Thank you. Thank you.”

“You never have to thank me, Willow. There was no fucking way we were going to let these bastards get away with this. Come on. We got to get out of here before anyone notices you're missing.”

“You're not going anywhere.” Spinning around, I find Jared standing a few feet away.

My eyes sweep over him and I laugh. This fucker is so damn drunk he can hardly stand. “Oh, I think we are.”

“You're going to have to go through me.” He stumbles forward, taking a swing at me. I push Willow against the wall and out of the way.

Ducking, Jared misses and stumbles into the opposite wall. He growls, turning around to take another swing. I duck again, and this time I get a hit in, punching him in the stomach.

He grunts and bends over. I bring my knee up, smashing him in the face, sending him groaning to the ground.

“Fuck.” I jump over him and grab Willow’s hand. “We need to run.” Willow quickly takes her heels off and then we’re running. I pull her along, taking off the way we came.

“Remind me to start working out,” she huffs as we make it out onto the front lawn.

A burst of laughter escapes me. “You got it, babe.”

Arms pumping, feet pounding, we move fast. We’re halfway to the gate when I hear shouting. “Stop!” We don’t stop, we keep running, but I do look over my shoulder to see a guy running after us. From the photos I’ve seen, I’m going to say it’s Tony.

“Don’t stop. Keep running,” I tell her.

We make it to the gate. Dane, Chandler, Ledger, and Aubrey are there waiting. Dane pulls her into his arms. “You’re safe, baby, you're safe. We got you.” Dane kisses Willow as she starts to sob.

“I love you,” she tells them. “I love you both so much. I was afraid I’d never see you again.”

“We love you too, my love.” Chandler kisses her next.

“I love you so fucking much,” Dane growls, pulling her back toward him for another kiss.

“Willow!” Tony snarls. “Get back in here right now.”

Grabbing the handle of the gun I stashed in the pocket of the jacket I’m wearing, I pull it out and spin around, pointing it at his head. “Don’t you fucking take another step.”

Tony stops, eyes wide and wild. “You can’t do this. Please. You can’t do this.”

“Yes, we fucking can!” Willow shouts. “You're a fucking monster. I hate you!”

Dane comes storming forward, charging at Tony. He knocks him to the ground and starts to beat the shit out of him. “How fucking dare you!” he roars. “I’m going to fucking kill you.”

Lowering my gun, I look over my shoulder just in time to see Willow’s mom and her dads getting out of a car and rushing over.

“Oh my god,” Trina gasps.

“Dane!” Chandler shouts, pulling Dane off Tony. “You're going to kill him.”

“Good!” Dane roars. “He deserves it.”

“Maybe so, but if you go to jail, think of Willow. She needs you.”

That seems to get Dane to stop. Chest heaving, he gets to his feet.
