“Come on,” she said, taking my hand. “I’ll walk with you.”

We trekked through the slowly thickening mist, hand in hand, chatting and laughing as if we had known each other forever. The years seemed to have eroded away, and I felt like a young teenager again, walking next to my first love, my spirit soaring, viewing the world around me in brilliant, popping color.

It was the most surreal, magical moment of my life.

The sound of rushing water got louder. Within minutes we reached the end of the trail, and I opened my mouth in awe.

“Wow,” I said, mesmerized.

“Like it?” Taylor said, enjoying the expression on my face.

“Wow,” I repeated.

I was staring at a microcosm fairytale world. It was as if a great giant had carved out a perfectly formed circle in the middle of the forest. A thick sheet of water cascaded down the side of the mountain, crashing into a clear pond. I could feel the power of the falls, the ground under me vibrating constantly, the spray creating a permanent mist. All around the clearing were the most vibrant collection of flower plants I had ever seen, a botanical heaven of breathtaking beauty.

I looked at Taylor, seeing for the first time how her beauty fit perfectly with this place. She was a part of the magic. She belonged here.

I pulled her close and kissed her, my hands roaming freely all over her body before settling around her magnificently sculpted, tight little ass.

“I like that,” she purred in my ear.

“Me too.”

Taylor giggled. “I know. I can feel your, uh, hardness, on my stomach. You’re a naughty boy.”

She broke away suddenly. “I want to show you something.”

“Yeah, show me,” I said with a sly grin.

“Not that, silly. Come on.”

I followed her along the left edge of the pond, toward the roaring falls, my curiosity piked. She stopped next to a high, overgrown hedge.

“Through here,” she said, squeezing herself between the shrubbery and the rock wall, moving sideways until she disappeared from view.

“Tay?”

“Try not to break the bushes,” she called out from the other side.

What the hell?

Pressing my back against the wall, I sidestepped through the heavy foliage carefully, but my six-foot frame could not squeeze through the narrow ledge as easily as Taylor did, and I ended up breaking a couple of branches. Finally I was through, landing heavily on a much narrower path that was completely hidden from the clearing.

“Miles!” Taylor said, rearranging the branches. I got what she was doing and smiled.

“I think your camouflage is still safe.”

“I just don’t want anybody to discover it. It’s my secret.”

I peered through the fog, making out bits of a twisting path going up a steep incline.

Great, more climbing.

“Where are we going?”

“You’ll see.”

Taylor once again took my hand and led me through the narrow trail. The sun had to be up already, but this deep in the woods, the light hadn’t quite reached us yet. The lack of sunlight plus the heavy mist made it difficult to make out much of anything, but Taylor was confident. She had been here many times before.
