“Okay.”

Dobbs reached into his chest pocket and pulled out a key, dangling it in front of her. To anyone else, it wouldn’t mean much. It was just a key. But Vada knew exactly where it led. Her cheeks immediately heated.

Oh, the memories. It had been a while since she and Hades had hijacked Dobbs’ room for their own sexcapades. Ironically, it had been the first place they’d been intimate. That memory. A shiver raced through her veins, and her flesh pebbled.

But this was her wedding day. The reception was still happening in full force. She peered over her shoulder, glancing back at Hades again, and bit her lip.

“It’s not a very ladylike thing to do at my wedding,” she muttered and ignored Dobbs’ soft chuckle at her response.

“Yeah, but you’re not a lady. You’re an old lady.”

Her teeth grazed over her bottom lip. Yes, I am. Officially.

“Come on, Vada,” Dobbs whispered with a hint of teasing, which made her smile, though she refused to look at him. “You know you want to take it. Clean sheets, sweetheart.”

Oh hell, how could she refuse? Her face was betraying her, turning a bright shade of red, but Dobbs was the perfect gentleman, ignoring her blush with a wink and chin lift, gesturing toward the room. Vada laughed, spun around, grabbed the key, and threw her arms around his shoulders.

“Thank you.”

Dobbs tightened his hold. “You’re welcome. Now go get your man.”

Vada pulled away and scanned the room. It was wall-to-wall people, and nearly impossible to find him within the mix of the crowd. Somehow, she did. Vada sensed him, more particularly, his eyes on her. Hades always knew where she was; even through a mass of people, he could find her. She locked eyes with him, standing in a small circle with a few members of the Riders and East. He jutted his chin. It was Hades' universal sign for “Are you good?”

Vada stepped back, inching her way toward the hall and never breaking eye contact. Once she reached the hall, she slowly lifted her hand and watched his gaze shift to her hand. His jaw squared as he focused in on the key, then his eyes jerked up and darkened. She wiggled her fingers, calling for him, and without an ounce of hesitation, he stalked through the room with his heated stare locked on her.

It was predator versus prey. I can’t believe he’s all mine. He’d caught up to her as they rounded the corner. It was quiet at this end of the clubhouse. The hall was completely empty as she stopped at the last room.

“Don’t rip my dress.”

“Not making any promises.”

She pressed her back against the door and pressed her hand against his hardened chest. “I want Allie to wear this dress if she wants.”

His gaze softened slightly, then his purple eyes darkened, and his arms stretched out, caging her in. “Then get inside and take off the fucking dress, Vada.” His growl sent a heated shiver through her veins.

Vada quickly put the key in the lock and turned, feeling Hades at her back, his hands wrapping around her stomach, and his warm breath washing over her neck.

“Hurry the fuck up, baby.”

Vada turned the knob and rushed into the room. She purposely ran to the opposite side of the bed. It was her only hope of salvaging the dress. Hades had a kinky habit of ripping off her clothes. Literally. Vada never had an issue. It was hot. However, she wasn’t taking any chances with this dress.

Vada reached behind her back, feeling for the small clasp. Shit! There was a reason putting on and taking off a wedding dress wasn’t a one-person sport. She couldn’t reach it. Hades already had boots off and his shirt untucked when she cleared her throat. He looked up with a heated stare, eyeing her body. She probably only had ten seconds.

“I need your help. I can’t reach the clasp.”

Hades circled the bed, and Vada stepped back, holding up her hand. “Please don’t rip it.”

His face softened, and the corner of his mouth hiked. “I won’t. Now turn your ass around so I can get you out of it.”

Vada turned and felt his warm, scraped-up knuckles brush against her back. It was almost foreplay how gentle he was being. The buttons were a bit intricate, and it took a few minutes.

When the last button was done, he slid the pads of his fingers over her back to her shoulders. A second later, her dress slid down and pooled at her feet. Vada barely had time to turn. Hades grabbed her hips, lifted her, and tossed her on the bed. He started unbuttoning his shirt then stilled.

“What the fuck are you wearing?” There was a feral growl as he continued to unbutton his shirt, take it off, and toss it on the floor.

“I bought it for the wedding.” Vada slid her hands over her stomach. She went with the classic white laced undergarment. “Do you like it?”

His gaze skimmed over her panties and bra. He unsnapped his button and lowered his pants. Now, it was her turn to stare.
