Stepping back, Seth captures my hand in his. “Come on, then.”

Oliver and Simon gather around me as he leads me inside the luxurious interiors of the mansion.

Solveig Pack’s home is the polar opposite of Burton Manor with its modern art décor. As I look around, I realize they’re still deeply rooted in their historic past.

My gaze darts all over the place, taking in the massive chandelier overhead, the thick, plush red carpet underneath my feet, and the gold-lined furniture dotting the place. I’m especially surprised by the polished weapons that hang from the walls of the vast entrance hall.

“Hello,” a soft feminine voice distracts me.

Staring ahead, I see a young woman smiling at me. Even though she’s casually dressed in a cropped hoodie paired with high-waisted denim trousers, she looks exceptionally pretty.

“You must be Rory,” she says, moving closer to me.

“Yeah,” I say, observing her vivid green eyes that match Seth’s. “Are you Iris?”

Her smile widens as she nods. “I’ve been waiting to meet you,” she says, wrapping me in a gentle hug. “You’re so much prettier than I imagined.” Straightening up, she glances at my mates. “You guys are a lucky bunch to be chosen by her.”

Surprise flares inside me. Iris is the sweetest omega I’ve met in my life. After hearing the stories of her bravery, I never expected her to be so friendly and gentle.

Heat spreads across Seth’s face at her compliment. Oliver and Simon grin, coming forward to lay kisses on my cheeks.

Someone clears their throat loudly.

Looking past my mates, I stare at the two strangers who’ve appeared in the room. I assume the taller man to be one of the Solveig brothers because of his resemblance to Raiden. He’s a couple of years older though, with silvery eyes like mine. Dressed in a regal black uniform with gold trimmings, he looks amazingly handsome.

“Is that Rory?” asks the second stranger. He’s almost as tall as the alpha but he’s much leaner. Strands of his long silver-blonde hair fall into his violet-hued eyes, giving him a mischievous look. Dressed in an oversized black shirt with a matching leather choker at his throat, he looks exceptionally beautiful.

“Yeah, I’m Rory,” I say as they move to stand on Iris’s side.

The male omega’s arm slides around Iris’s shoulder in a possessive stance as he stares at me.

“This is Julian,” Iris says, nodding toward him.

“And, that’s Caleb,” says Seth, pointing toward the tall, imposing alpha. “He’s the eldest among the Solveig brothers.”

“Julian’s the one to thank for our rescue mission last night,” Oliver says in a grim tone. “We couldn’t have reached you in time without his help.” A shudder goes through him as he rubs the wrinkles on his forehead. “We could’ve lost you if we’d been a minute too late.”

“I don’t have the words to thank you for what you did,” I say, looking directly toward Julian. “I don’t even want to imagine what my life would be like if Vaughn and his people locked me up in their basement. Thank you for helping my mates to find me.”

A warm smile appears on his lips. “You’re welcome.”

“These are for you,” I say, handing the bouquet of carnations to Iris. “And, the wine and chocolates are for you,” I add, giving them to Julian.

“Gee, thanks,” says Julian, his eyes lighting up with excitement.

Iris chuckles. “He loves sweets.”

I make a mental note immediately. Julian’s going to get lots of sweets from me in the future.

“We’re so glad they were able to rescue you,” Caleb says with a grim look in his eyes. “I don’t want a single omega to be harmed by those bastards again.”

Iris’s features harden. “I can’t believe these evil assholes are still running free,” she hisses, surprising me. “I thought Callahan’s capture would’ve helped you guys arrest his supporters.”

A heavy sigh escapes Caleb as he sinks into a couch. “It’s complicated,” he says. “Callahan is extremely cunning and tight-lipped. Without the information we got from Rory, we’d have never figured out the people who were involved in the omega trafficking ring.”

“Since we know about the main perpetrators, it’ll only be a matter of time before we force Callahan into divulging more information about their activities,” says Seth.

“You guys have had a long day,” says Iris, looking toward my mates. “Would you like some beer or something?”
