She did want to, she really wanted to, but she didn’t want to appear too needy. “I think I should get ready to go meet Sadie.

Ms. Cat looked a little sad. Maybe she wanted to snuggle? This whole thing was very confusing.

“Do you have a coat? It’s still pretty cold outside.”

Pippi nodded. “In my room.”

“Okay, I’ll go with you and make sure you’re nice and bundled up before you go out.”

Pippi opened her mouth to argue, but then stopped. Ms. Cat had told her she was in charge and she didn’t ask if she could go, she told her she was.

“Yes, Ma’am.” Pippi nodded.

They made their way to Pippi’s suite and she tried not to be embarrassed on how big of a mess it was. Ms. Cat didn’t seem to care, all she was worried about was making sure Pippi was adequately dressed to go outside. She fussed about the jacket not being warm enough, but Pippi assured her it was. When Catherine realized she didn’t have gloves or a hat, she marched her back down to the store and bought her some. They were fun and colorful and the hat had a big poofy bobble on the top. She loved it and loved even more how much Ms. Cat fawned over how cute she looked.

Heading back to the Littles’ Wing, they parted ways with Pippi again promising she would come to them if she needed to. She felt like a million bucks in her new stuff and even though her bottom stung a little still, she felt better than she had in years.

She saw Sadie as soon as she got out the door. She couldn’t be missed in her bright purple sparkling poofy winter coat.

“Hi!” Sadie waved as Pippi made her way to them. “We thought you might have changed your mind about hanging out with us today.”

“No, I’m sorry I’m late. I, uh, I had breakfast with the Dentens.”

“Oh, that's cool! I love them. They’re so good for so many of us. Was it fun?”

“Fun wasn’t exactly the word I would use.” Pippi found herself answering honestly. Sadie and the rest of the group looked at her curiously, obviously waiting for her to say something. She wasn’t certain she wanted to talk about the spanking, but maybe she would feel better if she did? She was among people who would not judge her in the slightest. On the contrary, they’d likely be able to empathize with what she’d just experienced.

“I got a spanking.” She puffed out.

“You did?” Wren asked. “What did you do?”

Hayleigh smacked Wren’s arm. “They’re the therapists, it’s privileged.”

“Ouch! If it was privileged, then she wouldn’t have told us it happened!”

“They’re not my therapists,” Pippi assured them. “I mean, I guess it was a therapy spanking and it happened in Ms. Cat’s office, but…”

“Did you meet Ellie?” Callie asked excitedly.

“Yeah, I got to hold her while… well, you know.”

They all nodded in unison.”

“If you weren’t there for a therapy session, what were you there for?” Wren asked.

Pippi thought about the whole series of events leading up to that moment. They’d talked about looking for a Little and it certainly sounded like their needs aligned with hers, but did that mean they wanted her? She didn’t live in Montana and they really didn’t know each other well.

“Well, that’s one way to figure out if you're compatible, like if someone sucked at spanking that would be almost as bad as if they sucked at sex,” Hayleigh said after Pippi regaled them with the entire tale.

They all giggled and nodded their heads.

“So are they your new Mommy and Daddy?” Callie bounced on her toes.

“No, they’re just Ms. Cat and Mr. Sam.” Pippi shrugged. “They never said anything about calling them that.”

“Well, that’s a really big step. You all just need to get to know each other more. When are you seeing them again?”

“I’m supposed to go to them if I have sub drop.”
