“And if you leave for a job, you’ll keep us updated,” Michael added. He didn’t want to have to call Marco like last time.

“I swear.” Jackson placed his hand over his heart.

Michael nodded.

“Can you accept that?” Jackson asked Finn.

Please! Michael wanted to shout at Finn. He couldn’t though. This had to be something that Finn agreed to on his own.

“I can accept that. You must accept that I will worry about you. Sometimes more than I do for Michael because I know Michael won’t put himself in danger.”

Pulling the chain from his pocket, Jackson offered it to Finn. “Deal.”

Chapter Fifteen

Jackson

Bored. Bored. So, fucking bored.

Jackson did not find the club entertaining and even the cute twinks that walked around acting like brats usually amused him, but he couldn’t even find a smile for them. Michael was working. Finn was working. Everyone was working but him. Or they were hooking up. Finn wouldn’t even let Jackson sneak some time in a supply closest with Michael. So, he was bored.

“Hi!”

Jackson snapped his head up at the soft greeting. Well, it looked like his evening just got more interesting.

“You belong to Michael. And Master Finn.”

Jackson nodded. “I do. Where’s your Daddy?”

Avery pointed toward the entrance where Jace stood talking to another man but watching Avery with intense eyes.

“Would you like to sit down?” Jackson offered.

“K!” Avery jumped onto the leather booth seat across from him. “Daddy talk and talk and talk. Boring!”

Jackson had to laugh at that. He felt the same way. “Yeah.”

“Where’s Michael?” Avery looked around the club.

The front room of the club was tame in comparison to the rest of the club. Except Jackson was sure that Avery came for the little room. Jackson couldn’t see Jace allowing Avery anywhere near the back or private rooms where more intense scenes took place.

“He was checking on the little room,” Jackson answered Avery. “Making sure there is drinks and snacks.”

Avery nodded. “I play. Waiting.”

How could anyone make this sweet boy wait?

“Avery!” Caleb raced to the booth in a gorgeous dark green dress that went all the way down to the floor. He even had a little crown on top of his soft blond hair.

“Hi!” Avery hugged Caleb before yanking him into the booth. “I wait.”

“Yeah, that’s what Jace said. Sorry we’re late.”

“Pretty!” Avery petted Caleb’s cheek.

Caleb blushed before he glanced at Jackson.

Jackson waved his hand.
