Oh my. Other parts of me warmed.
“Is that okay?” He brought me closer. With his hips pressed to mine, I could feel the hard and compelling length of him.
Collin was on the verge of becoming a huge rock star. Tonight, or any night, he could have any woman he wanted. But he wanted me.
“Yes, of course it is.” Placing my hands on his sculpted chest, I rose on my toes. Even though I was in heels, he was taller.
I pressed my lips to his, and he moved his mouth with mine. His passion consuming me, all thoughts of Andy went on the back burner. I would talk to him in the morning.
My boyfriend was finally going to make love to me. Band business could wait.
“I’m sorry.” Collin tossed the motel keycard on the dresser.
“For what?” I asked.
“For our first time being in a place like this.” He dropped his chin. “It’s not very fancy.”
“I don’t care where I am as long as I’m with you.” Closing the distance between us, I twined my arms around his neck and pressed my body into his.
“Addy.” His eyes on mine were like a brilliant new moon. “I love you. I just ...”
“Just what?” I felt a frisson of fear. A “but” coming so close on the heels of a declaration of love worried me.
“It’s just I’ve never done this before.” His gaze hooded, he captured my hands. Removing them from his neck, he brought them down between us.
“But you’ve been with all those other girls.”
“Sure, but I didn’t love them. I’ve only ever loved you.” He met my gaze, letting me see his longing. “I don’t want to get it wrong. You’re too important.”
“Oh, Collin.” I sighed. “Is that why you put this off for so long?”
“Yes.” He nodded. “It’s been killing me.” He swept his gaze over me. “But you in that dress issuing ultimatums ... I don’t want to wait anymore.”
“We don’t have to do this now,” I said gently. “We can wait.”
“I want to do it now.” He framed my face with his talented hands and exhaled heavily. His breath, minty and humid, lifted wisps of my hair. “I want you. So much.”
“I want you too.” I placed my palms on the center of his chest and peered up at him through my lashes. My bottom lip trembled. We’d waited so long. “I’m nervous too. I don’t want you to be disappointed with me.”
“Addy, babe. You’re beautiful, and you’re mine.” He swept his thumb across my mouth, and the trembling stopped. The love in his eyes settled me, and his touch ignited sparks. “I love you.”
Collin lowered his head, and I angled mine to accommodate the tilt of his.
“Love you too,” I whispered against his lips.
All thoughts scattered like a flock of birds when he fitted his mouth to mine and his tongue swept inside. Just that, the connection of our tongues, was a fiery jolt to my system.
Passion rocking me, I gripped the cotton of his T-shirt and met each subsequent stroke of his tongue with mine. His fingers tangling in my hair, he tugged to pull my head back and deepened the kiss. My blood became liquid fire.
“Collin ...” I moaned.
Ripping my mouth from his, I gulped in needed air. He rained hot kisses along my jaw and grazed my earlobe with the edge of his teeth.
“I want you naked,” he rasped in my ear.
I shivered. “I want you naked too.”
“You first, babe.” He eased back.
