Oh no, little mouse, you contradictory and irresistible mystery. You won’t escape from my clutches.

Kai:

He calls himself No One, the guy whose death warrant has been signed. The guy who lies and cheats, and tries to flee.

But I keep on crossing paths with him. With this threat, this elegant mess of soft curls and large eyes. I tell myself he should be dealt with, this traitor, he should be taken out. For an enemy of my people, is an enemy of mine.

Still I’m desperate to know his name, and can’t help longing for him. For this gorgeous man who degrades himself to No One. Oh, he’s far from no one to me.

Phoenix:

When Dad disapeared he took the light away. Left me and Mom in a place where I can’t fight her demons. And she has many. So much drink, so much disappointment—I am a disappointment. I seem to fall deeper with every decision I make, until I’m lost in a war with no allies.

I try to hide, but Kai, next in command to rule the Void, has got his piercing eyes on me. And they can see through the dark. They search for me, warm my body and soul, and make me want things I’ll never have.

But when the war reaches a scorching climax I am given the chance to redeem myself. The price? Everything I’ve come to love.

Infuriated is a grim enemies-to-lovers, hurt/comfort with an enraged rockabilly mobster and his lethal babe. We fly through NY only to have stops in the port, in shabby neighborhoods, and in beautiful parks. We are reunited with the other characters of the series, as this is the last instalment of the Undeniable.

This story contains dark themes, adult content, and potential triggers, though every effort was made to portray them thoughtfully and sensitively.

Specific triggers (potential spoilers): (domestic) violence, dub-con.
