Shielding Maya

GHOST: Government Hidden Ops Specialty Team. They eliminate the threat when no one else can.

She’s a GHOST operative who’s tough as nails.
He’s the next in line to command his people into the future.
Together they witness a murder and life is now deadly for both of them.

Maya Sager is anything but a girlie girl. She grew up in battle boots and tactical gear, much to her grandmother’s irritation. But, she admired her mama and daddy and always wanted to follow in their footsteps. Moving with her GHOST family to Glen Hollow, Kentucky gives Maya the chance to finally live her dream. Focusing on protecting the workers building a local military base seemed like child’s play until she witnesses something she isn’t supposed to see.

Jasiah Weston was born and raised on the Hill, just above Glen Hollow Kentucky. He’s next in line to be President of his people. With his father now on his deathbed, Jasiah has to solidify his place as leader by making sure the contractors building the military base at the bottom of the mountain, don’t encroach on their land. When he and the gorgeous towny from GHOST witness a murder together, it puts both of their lives in danger.

He’s not supposed to get involved with the towns people, and Maya is a towny now, but she’s irresistible to him. His position as president is at stake. He’ll lose everything he’s been groomed to do if he gets involved with her. He’s now in the most awkward and dangerous position of all, Shielding Maya from above and below.
