After my best friend was snatched away on her 25th blood moon, chosen by the fates to become a Nature Halfling, I promised myself two things. I promised myself two things. I wouldn’t cry about the decisions of fate, so I would appreciate being a Fire Gifted come what may. And should I be destined to remain as I was, I’d find the man who had been haunting my dreams.
Four moons later, my own 25th blood moon has arrived and it coincides with the last ball to be hosted by our King and Queen. Usurpers are closing in ready to upset the very fabric of our kingdom, as rumors swirl that the crowned prince may be the first of their line not to succeed.
Prince Beaumont Graysen, the devastatingly handsome Ice Halfling, seems so familiar to me. The ocean in his eyes pulls me in and tells me all the ways he will devour me whole if given the chance. His icy kisses calm my fire and I crave his touch. He wants me to be his queen and burn hot only for him.
Together, we're a deliciously steamy match. Even though there are those hellbent on turning our world upside down and tearing us apart; fate has a few tricks up her sleeve, and it’s only a matter of time before prophecies' and magic long forgotten are resurrected.
