"What is more fearsome? The monster that stands before you? Or the one that lives within you."

Elora Leigh is in hiding.
As an Enchantress, she has spent the last several years running not only from a king that hunts magick, but from the guilt and grief of losing her mother.

Content in her solitude, Elora's life among the trees is disrupted when she crosses paths with the most unlikely of allies.

A thief determined to keep his village afloat, Sorin will do whatever it takes to provide for his people, especially now that the lands have been hit by Mother Gaia’s fury. Fishing has ceased, crops won't grow, and the animals they've relied on for food have mostly disappeared leaving him desperate for a change.

When Elora and Sorin discover a common thirst for justice in the Kingdom of Valebridge, they set out on a journey to fend for those who cannot fend for themselves and take back power from the corrupt king.

But the deeper they go through the Wicked Woods, the more Elora realizes those she thought she could trust may not be who she thinks they are.

Family secrets, ancient magick, a kindling romance, and tangles of lies begin to reveal themselves. Elora must make a decision; trust this stranger to help defeat those harnessing magick in the Kingdom, or let the demons of her past push her back into hiding and away from who she was born to be.
