A holiday away is exactly what I need—or at least that’s what my daughter, Fran, says. I shouldn’t have waited so long to get tickets for a Caribbean Cruise because now I’m stuck at this Ski Resort for the holidays with the one dragon I’ve been trying to avoid. I’ve long ago given up any hope for a happy ever after of my own when my duty to the coven always calls. I have to be careful with whom I choose to spend my life with, and Adeon is bad for me in every way when I can’t abandon them for a dragon---and a dragon won’t stay. But kicking off my heels and having a little holiday fun won’t hurt anyone so long I remember that I can’t fall in love.

I arrived two years ago at the Durmont Coven house to find my clan’s stolen mating jewel and found there the most unexpected treasure—a witch I want to call my own. But I have my duty to uphold to my clan which has brought me to this resort to meet with my cousin when I would rather be curled around my female at home. Discovering that she is here must be fate, but it will be the greatest of gifts if I can claim her as mine. I will use everything in my arsenal to woo her even if I want to scoop her up and hide her away when the hotel is endangered by angry fairies.
