My life was perfect before they took me. I was a normal slacker college student just trying to skid through the semester with barely passing grades when he stormed into my life. I didn’t have the answers they were seeking but refused to give up my worth without a fight. I vowed to keep my secrets to myself as long as possible to keep my best friend and me alive.

I never planned to give him anything and especially not an irreplaceable piece of me. I did it willingly after a few heated kisses that were hotter than anything I had ever experienced.

I called him a traitor, but I was the one who kept lying to myself.

She was a smart mouthed woman who was going to get all of us killed. I had to see what all the fuss was about but caring whether she lived or died was never something I intended. To my brothers, she was an asset and that was what she was to me at first, too, but she quickly morphed into something else. I told myself I was protecting her in the name of my club but had my own selfish reasons for being by her side.
