My work revolved around the life I thought I was going to have, but pressures of being a hockey players wife, and wanting a career for myself made me miserable so I left.
Now he's coming to me.
Eight years had passed since I walked out of of our apartment. That was the last time I'd seen him but now he's home playing for the city up the road, and he's demanding the rest of the season together to see if we still have a shot.

A feeling deep within me has always wondered if I made the right decision, I guess we will know by the end of the season.

Hockey has been my life since the first day I put skates on. Countless hours in the rink practicing, training and falling in love. The demands of my career, the dreams she had for hers lead to our separation. I need to know if we have a future because after eight years it's time to move on in one way or the other.
So I requested a trade closer to her. The remainder of the season we will be forced to be a married couple.

She wanted a trial separation and I never wanted to let her go.
