That’s what I was called when I left home at eighteen. I moved as far away from everyone as I could… Including him. Being so close to him and not being allowed to have him was just too painful.
It’s been three years since I left. I have a new life that is all my own. One that I never knew I was missing. It really should make me happy. But I can’t move on until I know for sure… Is it just me or did he feel the same? Could he still?

At first I was angry. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t still a little frustrated. She had no right to leave here… Leave me.
Did she really believe I wouldn’t look for her? At first just to make sure she was okay, but then when I found her… Now I know, right or wrong, there could never be enough distance to ease this feeling between us.
