He said he didn’t believe in love and that this was only temporary…
So why didn’t I listen?

I’ve dealt with my fair share of assholes in the past. As a result, dating wasn’t a top priority on my list of things to do. And I guess you could say I had a chip on my shoulder when it came to men. Which is why I found it especially maddening when two weeks before my best friend’s wedding, an emergency thrust me into the lap of the best man.

Aleck Fox.
Control freak billionaire.
Cocky rake of the highest degree.
And King Asshole himself.

Now, we have to work together to plan our friends’ wedding. We have to agree on matters, and communicate about things…
We have to live together, for God’s sake. It won’t be easy because as much as I can’t stand being around him, I can’t deny the way he makes me feel…

Angry, annoyed, exhilarated, sexy.

He may be the most beautiful bastard I have ever encountered, but he isn’t a man I should get involved with.

I, Winter Sommers, am in trouble.
Because Aleck Fox is a raging inferno—hot, but destructive.
And if I don't stay away from him, he’ll burn me alive.
