Warm and Dry

Sometimes the hardest thing to learn is how to let someone take care of you.

Forest didn’t mean to have a meltdown in a laundromat. He just needed his jersey dried before the game, but the stupid laundromat dryer had other plans. Now he’s standing in front of a payment kiosk that makes no sense, blinking back the tears that threaten to fall, and wishing for someone to just make everything easier.
Thankfully, the owner is there to do just that. Not only does he help with Forest’s dripping load but he doesn’t freak out when that meltdown actually happens. Quite the opposite, in fact.

What begins as coffee and a dry cycle quickly becomes something neither of them ever expected. Daddy Scott provides a place where Forest doesn’t have to be grown-up and capable every single second, and Scott finally has someone worth pouring himself into… in more ways than one.
