My phone alerts me to an intruder on our property. Normally, I’d let my brother Adrian handle it, but he’s over at Andrew’s cabin, dealing with the issue they found at our family business, JNG. Without checking the security feed, I head out to dissuade our visitor from getting any closer. It’s early evening, late for hunters, but maybe they’re lost. What I find is nothing close to that. A short, curvy, dark-haired woman is at the bottom of the driveway. And she’s pulling an enormous suitcase. What the hell? When I’m close enough to meet her gaze, it’s like time stands still and speeds by at the same time. Instead of kicking her off the property, I want to toss her over my shoulder and make her mine.
