Lisa paused, hands on Sevastyan’s ribs, staring at the bullet wound. “I’m trying to decide if I’m as brave as Rei.”
Sevastyan kept himself still.
Lisa took a shuddering breath. “If you’re really going to take them down, I’ll . . . I’ll be your slave. I’ll help you, from the inside.”
Sevastyan, Rei, and Lisa are injured and their base compromised. Ellisandre is the only one left standing. And more attackers could come at any moment.
Sevastyan is done with waiting and playing things softly. Stripping off the gloves will come with a price. But they touched Rei. No one is allowed to touch Rei. But can Ellisandre keep Sevastyan’s soul together as he pays the price?
Meanwhile, Lisa is making choices, ones that could mean salvation but also darkness. And Rei is wrapped in it all, holding the fragile tendrils of their collective battered hearts.
The pieces are now being laid on the chess board between Sevastyan and the Merchari. The question remains, who is actually calling the plays? Is it Sevastyan? Ellisandre? Or Rei? And will they be set in place fast enough to save themselves and the ones the Merchari are hunting?

This serial is a dark, contemporary MXM+ romance with strong chosen family themes. Intended for mature audiences only. While Ellisandre, Sevastyan, and Rei are the central triad, this is a firmly polyamorous romance. If you like your romance dark and explicit, then this story is for you.

This is a stand alone serial. The plot contains spoilers for Collin and Damian & Jun in The Residency Boys Universe. Read those first if you want to avoid finding out some things early. Prior Claim, the first Sanctum volume, starts roughly a week after Damian & Jun Episodes 1-4. The two serials run parallel, but neither has to be read to understand the other. Collin: Episodes 1-3 is the very first book if you wish to read the entire universe chronologically.
