Sometimes the dream you’ve been watching from afar is waiting for you among the stars.

Evan Morales has spent years dreaming of a farm, a family, and a life far from the crowded city. After a brush with death finally convinces him to stop watching other people live his dream, Evan takes a leap of faith. He applies to foster-to-adopt—and follows his favourite YouVid creator, Jesse Wilson, by applying to become a colonist on New Haven.
He knows the odds of being matched with one of the planet’s Dragonii settlers are slim. He never expected to beat them.
Thalen has spent five lonely years helping build New Haven, using his environmental science skills to turn an alien homestead into a place he can call home. Quiet and shy, he’s resigned himself to a life without a mate—especially one willing to share his isolated little corner of the colony. Then Evan arrives.
Neither man expected the stars to hand them exactly what they’d secretly wished for: a farm, a mate, a house full of animals, and children who need a family to call their own. But sometimes the greatest adventure in the universe isn’t finding a new world.
It’s finally finding home.

Thalen is a low-angst MM sci-fi romance featuring a dreamer whose fantasies become reality, a shy cinnamon-roll Dragonii, an entire raft of pets and farm animals, and happy children , all of whom find family isn’t simply who you happen to be born to. Sometimes it’s the one you make.
