When the gods came for my sister, they expected obedience.
Instead, they got me.

Chosen as this year’s Courted Prize for the Eternal Trials, my sister has been dragged to the capital to await whichever victor survives the gods’ brutal competition and claims her as their reward.

I have only one way to save her.
I have to enter the trials myself and win her freedom.

The problem is, I’m not a warrior. I’ve never held a weapon, fought a battle, or trained for the twisted games the gods created for their own amusement. The moment I enter the arena, I’m certain I’ve just signed my own death warrant.

Then a powerful, devastatingly handsome competitor steps forward and volunteers to become my partner.

Now I’m trapped in a deadly competition where every challenge is designed to break me, forced to rely on a man whose strength should terrify me and whose heated looks leave me feeling far too much for someone fighting to survive. And he’s only the first. With every trial, more powerful, intoxicating men are drawn into my orbit, blurring the lines between rival, ally, and something far more dangerous.

No matter how my pulse stutters beneath their attention, I can’t afford distraction.

Because this isn’t about desire.

If I win, my sister and I walk free.
If I fail, I die… and Lyra’s fate will be sealed forever.
