She spent her life studying history’s greatest military commanders. Then she landed in another world.

Thirty-year-old military historian Meghan Callahan knows ancient warfare better than she knows what to do with her own life.
Moments after collapsing during her doctoral presentation, Meghan wakes beneath an unfamiliar sky with a dead phone, forty-three pages of notes on a Roman general, and a fortress standing between civilization and an army of bloodthirsty vampires.
Holding the line is Scipio, the battle-hardened High Commander of Outpost Ely: disciplined, dangerously capable, and built like every fantasy Meghan has ever had.
As undead attacks intensify, Meghan’s knowledge may be his army’s last advantage. To survive, she must do more than study decisive commanders. She must become one.

Beds and Blades is a spicy portal romantasy featuring military strategy, vampires, found family, claiming bonds, dangerous desire, high-stakes warfare, and an explicit open-door romance.

Content warning: High-heat, sexual content; graphic violence; blood, death, and vampire horror.
