Jamie never thought his life would turn out like this – being a barista in a library coffee shop or sharing a house with virtual strangers. His dream was to work with old books and manuscripts and have a safe place to live with his brother and sister, away from their abusive father and alcoholic mother.

But all his money went on rent and bills. To top this off, he was about to be homeless, after his landlord decided to sell the house they were renting.
If only there was someone who could help rescue his siblings and offer them a safe haven.
Ivan knew Jamie was his mate the first time their eyes met, but issues from his past made him question if he was worthy enough to have one.
Hearing that Jamie might be in trouble, Ivan shoved those thoughts aside as his protective instincts kicked in. If Jamie needed help, Ivan was more than happy to offer his services.
However, Jamie might not be the only one in trouble, as a figure from Ivan’s past arrives.

With family and friends coming to their aid, will Jamie and Ivan survive long enough to achieve their happily ever after?
