Highlander’s Mercenary Lass

The only warrior he can not command is… a lass!

Laird Duncan is at his tent, dying, after having fought in a vicious battle. He tells everyone to leave him alone because he wants to speak to Andrew Caldwell, his most skilled and most trusted warrior. In his final moments, Laird Duncan reveals to the Highlander that he has a daughter and says that he wants Andrew to fulfill his dying wish; to find his daughter and bring her back to the Duncan Estate.

With a heavy burden on his shoulders and a strong sense of duty, Andrew begins on a secret journey. Unfortunately, the warrior does not know the area where the Laird sent him well, and his only hope to navigate lies in the hands of… a woman! The lass named Grace is unlike any other he has met; strong and vigorous, Grace could take on more than one man in a single fight. With a promise of a large payment, she agrees to be his guide in this area and help him track down the lost daughter of the Laird.

Even though there is a lot of tension at first, the two get along well after a while, but none of them wants to admit that. However, Grace can be unpredictable, and when Andrew wakes up, he cannot find her! Alone, in a place he does not know well, the warrior curses the moment he trusted the Mercenary Lass. Now he must use all his skill to get out of this situation and hope that he will be able to find her again.

When the two meet again, Andrew demands answers for her behavior and to talk with someone who will help him find the Laird’s daughter. Grace decides to take him to her father, the blacksmith of the Village, who has lived there for many years. But when Andrew talks to him and realizes where he will find the daughter, everything turns upside down.

Bringing her back now seems impossible as the rest of the Duncan siblings would never accept their lost sister and Grace’s help suddenly becomes a thousand times more important than Andrew thought it was…
