She returned to Arizona to build a new life. She never expected the boy she once loved to become the man standing between her and a killer.

After leaving behind a high-powered career in Dallas, Serena Blackstone has finally found the life she’s always wanted, running a quirky café in a historic Victorian. Then someone breaks into her home. Twice.
What begins as vandalism quickly turns violent when Serena is attacked, forcing Walker Landry to step in. A decorated veteran and co-founder of Last Light Security, Walker now leads Arizona’s newest Brotherhood Protectors team. Protecting Serena should be just another assignment.

Except she isn’t just another client.
She’s the first love he’s never forgotten.

As the attacks escalate, Walker realizes someone is hunting for a secret hidden somewhere in the cafe. With danger closing in and old feelings becoming impossible to ignore, they must uncover the truth before a ruthless enemy finds what they’re searching for.

Because someone is willing to kill for what’s hidden inside The Menagerie.
And this time, Walker refuses to lose the woman he never stopped loving.
