He never wanted to lead. She never meant to stay.

Project manager, Elodie MacNeil, is exhausted, disillusioned, and one bad day away from falling apart. So when a mysterious old woman offers her the chance to escape, she accepts—only to find herself flung into the turbulent Scottish Highlands of the eighteenth century—and into the path of an infuriatingly handsome Highlander.
Ronan Campbell has spent years keeping his people safe. As the reluctant leader of a struggling community, he has no time for distractions—especially not a sharp-tongued woman who questions his every decision and somehow sees straight through him.
But forced proximity has a way of breaking down walls.
As danger threatens their fragile refuge, Elodie and Ronan find themselves drawn together by late nights, shared burdens, and a passion neither can resist. For Ronan, loving Elodie means facing a past he’d rather forget—and Elodie knows that falling for her Highlander might mean giving up the future she left behind.
When love begins to feel like home, will they risk everything for their chance at forever?

Desire of a Highlander is a swoony Scottish time travel romance featuring a reluctant Highland hero, unexpected passion, and a heroine who refuses to back down.
