Tessa Stuart is all about protecting her best friend. But her BFF Megan is married now. She should be able to drop her protective instincts, right? Except Megan’s husband is a dragon shifter. Yep, dragons. Apparently, dragons are losing their powers because of a curse set in motion by evil witches. Yep, witches. So much for taking a step back… Instead, Tessa jumps in with both designer clad feet. With a few white lies, she convinces the private investigator looking into the curse to let her help.
A great plan until she realizes he isn’t who or what he says he is.
Ben Wells doesn’t remember anything about his past. Even his name is made up. The only clue he has is a bag full of money and two names on a piece of paper. A great plan until he realizes she isn’t who he expected her to be.
