The plan is slightly more complicated. But they can still make it work, right?

Tor
Tor now needs to convince his brother the High King that the asinine plan to marry him off is actually the best plan that ever existed—as long as it’s to that most objectionable, most inappropriate prince who has proved to be the best thing that’s ever happened to Tor. He needs to convince Pel to bond with him. Instead, when the exiles’ raids take a violent turn, Tor finds himself rushing to try to prevent a war.

Pel
The last thing Pel expected was to fall for Tor. Now he has to face the reality of a relationship with the High Prince of the United Realms—and the very real possibility that High King Varex isn’t going to approve, no matter what Tor says. Before they can set off to talk to Tor’s brother, though, they find themselves marching to face the banished exiles. Will they even get the chance to pursue their relationship, or will unexpected dangers tear them apart?
