Property of The Grump
I almost had her.
She was almost mine.
My little lamb knelt down on a church pew asking for protection.
A shepard is what she needed,
Guidance through the storm.
Instead, I took matters into my own hands.
Instead, I’ve spent five years in prison, in the name of keeping her safe.
Some call it obsession.
I call it love,
Protection,
God’s work.
All I know for fact is, I lost her once.
This time, I’m claiming her for keeps.
