“I want you, Jake. I want you so much that it hurts to breathe when I’m around you.”

Jake Wynn has one rule: don’t take the same guy to bed twice. But now that he’s stuck in a tiny coastal town helping his recently widowed aunt sell her house, he’s quickly running out of options.
Enter Robert Alan Eaton the 3rd. Handsome, incisive, and son of the infamous local Eaton family, Robbie is everything Jake doesn’t want in a man. Nothing, not even the confines of a small town, can make them like each other.
Until one stupid mistake forces Jake into spending every evening alongside Robbie at the beach, and they realize that they have more in common than they care to admit. But Robbie still won’t play by Jake’s rules, and no amount of begging can change that. Or can it?
Everything comes to a head when Robbie must choose between family and the life he truly wants, and Jake has to confront the rule that’s caused him nothing but trouble since he arrived in town. And unless they’re both willing to stop fighting the love that’s been growing between them for months, they might never get a chance to be together again.

Fish Out of Water is a small town MM romance featuring frenemies to lovers, opposites attract, found family, magical realism, and more.
