Six Days of Sun

When Soleil Baptiste enters the Chicago Coyotes’ “fan experience” contest, she never really expects to win the prize—a seven night, all-expenses paid trip to an exclusive luxury resort. On the off chance that she does win, she plans to gift the trip to her dad, since his love of the game inspired her own love of the game. But when he’s unable to attend, Soleil is stuck with two options: take the trip or miss the opportunity. She decides to take the trip with her only expectations being to keep the promise to herself to step outside her comfort zone; say yes more than she says no; get some sun; and have some fun.

Spencer Charles can’t stand this type of pandering. Being stuck at a resort (albeit a very nice resort) at the beck and call of the team’s ownership, prospective donors, and football fans is his worst nightmare. There is no way he would ever have his face in the place if he hadn’t agreed to do it as a favor for one of the executives’ wives. Then he watches one of his most arrogant teammates fumble the most beautiful woman he’s ever seen, and all of sudden the prospect of a week at the resort doesn’t seem so bad.

It begins with light conversation and a few laughs at a wine tasting. It turns into quiet beach strolls and dinners under the stars. But there was always a timeline. There was always an expiration date. Can what they started to build in paradise survive in the reality of real life? Six days was enough to form a connection… but is six days enough to form a foundation for the future?
