Jai Flynn, a quirky gay romance writer allergic to crowds, stumbles upon an abandoned baby near a dumpster. Instinct kicks in; he can’t leave her behind. But before he reaches the hospital, chaos erupts. Armed men chase him through the city, forcing a mad dash back to his apartment. Heart racing, he watches in shock as the infant shifts into a wolf pup. Just then, his phone buzzes. A gravelly voice commands him to run. Danger is closing in. Trusting the voice, Jai leaps down the fire escape and jumps into a waiting SUV.
In a sleek high-rise office, he meets Prime Alpha Braham Wolfe, a dominating wolf shifter with a fierce possessiveness that leaves Jai breathless. Braham claims both Jai and the baby, igniting a wildfire of attraction that neither can ignore. Their dynamic are electric, a tug-of-war between Braham’s need for control and Jai’s fierce independence. Each encounter crackles with tension and sharp banter, blurring the line between rivalry and romance.

But the stakes skyrocket when a rival pack descends, intent on claiming what’s theirs. With no choice but to defend baby Grace, Jai taps into his military training, surprising the shifters with his instincts. Still, against overwhelming odds, he realizes he needs more than just his skills. He needs a Wolfe to survive this.
