An angel gives in to sinful temptation, falling from grace for forbidden love, in this paranormal romantic fantasy adventure.

Victoria English once soared among the heavens, a virtue angel in service of God. A fierce warrior of the Heavenly Host, she was dispatched time and again to Earth to battle demons and protect humanity. It was during one of these Holy Wars when her divinity was recognized by a human male whose very gaze pierced Victoria’s heart, unleashing feelings she had never experienced. For revealing her true nature to a mortal out of love and desire, Victoria was cast from Heaven. Exiled on Earth and still in possession of her celestial powers, she now hunts demonic creatures in New Orleans as repentance, hoping to reascend home.

But the war between Heaven and Hell is escalating. Witch covens have joined the conflict, using sorcery to empower vampires and werewolves against the sunlight that once destroyed them. Archangels are recruiting and training Nephilim as soldiers. The legions of the damned are in open rebellion for control of the underworld. And Lucifer Morning Star is nowhere to be found.

A traitor to angels and an enemy to demons, Victoria is unaware of her true destiny in the battle between good and evil, and that the true identity of the man she sacrificed herself for is not a man at all, but the Great Deceiver who has discovered his capacity for love . . .
