Alpha dragon, Beryl Moonscale, finally visits the GGB to see off Pras Lavender and to hopefully attend his mum’s wedding. This would’ve worked out great if his adopted otter-shifter son didn’t sneak out in the middle of the night and fled from Beryl who was taking a late night stroll to clear his head.
The pair bump heads almost instantly. Jade doesn’t have room in his life for someone who isn’t ready to step up and be a dad. It takes Beryl some time to wrap his head around the true-mate response and where exactly he fits into Jade’s life. With a new threat lurking around the corner, will the true-mates be able to work things out in time when everything is on the line?
